Measurements Quest
First quests
Another fitness blog... I read enough of them - now to write my own!
I've just been checking back over a bunch of Facebook posts - I ran my first 10k just over a year ago, and have progressively become more interested in being fit ever since. I've run another 2 10ks since then, a couple of half marathons, a Spartan Hurricane Heat, starting weight lifting and even persuaded my wife to let me ruin with her (once...)
But I've come to a bit of a plateau - everything's become a bit stake and samey. To break this before it becomes a rut, I've signed up to the Nerd Fitness Academy. However - yesterday i graduated from a fairly intense 7 month course in my day job in the Royal Air Force (i can now call myself a Qualified Weapons Officer 😁) and tomorrow I drop my wife in hospital, drive a hour south to pick up the keys to our new house, then drive an hour back north to pick up my wife and sit with her as she recovers from general anaesthetic. I squeezed in a 3 mile run tomorrow, and will be back in the gym on Saturday before moving house proper early next week, then holidays!
So - NFA quests. Quest one is the before photos:

I'm not in bad shape, but I'd like more definition, and bigger arms - those are my first 2 goals!

As well as the first mindset quest, I've ticked off the quests completed for my run (just checked the GPS - 3.14 miles, so qualified for the 5k quests 😁).
And now I'm level 3!
